| God didn't create us with such a strong sense of curiosity and then expect us to take religion lying down.
we need to think about belief, why we believe.
If I lived in a different part of the world, if I grew up to be Hindu, would I see Christianity and immediately want to join from blind belief?
no, probably not.
If I'm some sect of Christian, and I realize that we don't have everything right, am I supposed to just sit here and ignore it?
no.
If I can't think of a good reason why I believe in this specific sect of Christianity other than that I was raised that way, is that a good enough reason to be Christian?
no.
so why do people see me searching for a solid belief and think I'm going to hell for questioning everything? tell me that. God made us to think. why is it so bad for me to use my brain?
